Are you struggling to hit your drives straight ?

During a lesson if you ask a student what is their ball flight direction off the tee most will say a slice.

But they could be hitting any of the below ...

A) A slice

B) A push

C) A hook

D) A pull

For right handed golfers

If your golf ball starts straight then curves right you are slicing.

The main causes are,

A weak grip

Grips too fat

Open club face

Lack of shoulder turn

Gripping to tight

Driver too short in length

If your ball flies straight right you have a push.

The main causes are,

A weak grip

In too out swing path

Feet aiming too far right

Poor ball position

If your ball starts straight and curves left you are hooking.

The main causes are,

A strong grip

Grips too thin

Lack of shoulder turn

Closed clubface

Driver too long in length

If your ball flies straight left you have a pull.

The main causes are,

Out too in swing path

Strong grip

Poor ball position

So you see between club face aim, feet aim, your ability to complete your shoulder turn

or a poor grip it’s not difficult to fix a players wayward drives !

But all you need do is book one lesson to analyse what the problem is.

I would recommend a 40 minute lesson to fix your drives. Cost just £30

Or you could keep watching those youtube videos for another month !

But who is going to `show you` YOUR INDIVIDUAL PROBLEM ?
